Only 31-35% of refugee girls have the opportunity to attend secondary school. Mrs. Mhlanganiso is one of the two female science teachers who teach at Tongogara Refugee Camp. She is a positive role model for female learners who may think that science is predominately a male domain. She encourages all her students to pursue their goals and develop a love for science. The UNHCR Education Report is an annual report focusing on the opportunities and challenges faced by refugees in accessing all levels of education.
